In keeping with this sentiment from C.S. Lewis, we at Teacups And Tomes wish to provide a place where one can find suggestions for good books and lovely cups for tea that will result in endless hours of enjoyment.

Our primary mission is to put high-quality, affordable books into the hands of readers and collectors and to keep books from being discarded to the trash bin, relegated to the jumble sale in someone’s driveway, or abandoned to a dusty corner of a thrift shop. We believe that books should be treasured and shared with others to be read again and again.

As we have endeavored to fulfill our mission, we discover that we have become a book rescue of sorts, combing through thrift shops, estate sales, used book stores, and so forth in search of books needing a new lease on life. Our books are gently read, carefully curated, and lovingly restored before being offered up to the next reader. As an independent, woman-owned small business, we pledge to be as committed to our customers as we are to our books.

Teacups And Tomes has extended our scope of rescued items to include collectible treasures and memorabilia which can be found in The Annex.
